I'm Phillip Carpenter
I'm interested in most things and I teach art, design, & digital media classes at the University of Washington in Seattle and Bothell.


Working somewhere between art and design, I've been investigating virtual reality and the inherent parallel perception of existing within two environments simultaneously. My recent work explores the future of the visual interface by examining the anatomy of touch within virtual environments.
